tour ends, tour begins
just when the tour de france finishes and floyd landis looks magnificent in the winner's yellow jersey, i get ready to race my first tour ever - the tour de toona. i am pretty nervous/excited. we will see how it goes...with more than 2,500 in prize money for cat 4, lets hope it goes really well!
need to crunch out some bigtime jobs at work this morning then have a meeting about recruiting at jmu. after that it is a short short spin of the legs and a short drive to johnstown to crash with alien and kevin, kicking off the tour with a 40 mile race at 8:30 friday morning. pictures will surely come, as kevin and alien are racing cat 3 (i couldn't weasle my upgrade w/o races due to collarbone) and im doing cat 4...thus providing ample opportunities to snap some action shots of eachother.
